Summer 2015

My life and spaces this spring and summer has been consumed with moving into a new home. Sorting, the many trips to Goodwill and grocery stores in the hunt for boxes, making hard decisions about what stays and what goes, boxing, cleaning, blah, blah, blah! We’ve all experienced it at some point or another, so I’m sure you feel my pain! In addition to the physical labor of moving, there are just so many decisions to make about what to keep and what goes – and the sentimental attachments to the many personal items from now-deceased family, your child’s school papers, artwork and special toys make it even worse. So, I decided to take the advice of Internet de-cluttering experts and just box it up and make that decision on another day.

Special thanks to the great people in the produce and dairy departments of the local grocery stores for their help in securing our many egg and banana boxes.

My advice to our Life+Spaces readers is to start now in the de-cluttering process, but before you do that, continue reading this issue and these interesting articles!
