Spring 2016

Mexican food, fire pits, lakefront living, and outdoor camping – can it get any better than that? In anticipation of enjoying the outdoors again, this issue of Life + Spaces presents some of my favorite things and things to do as the temperatures warm up.

There’s never a shortage of great ethnic foods in our area and Mexican cuisine is at the top of the list. Our “Quest for the Best” burritos, tortas, barbechos, and anything with chorizo was fantástico!

Also inside, read about the beautiful Diamond Lake home of Chris and Sue Stoler, and the new South Shore service that allows you to take your bike to Chicago and points in-between (without having to pedal the entire way!)

Feeling like a project? How about a backyard fire pit? We’ve got the plans for you inside – and much more, so keep reading!

Enjoy the sunshine,
