Uncovering the stories that define our title is one of my favorite things about producing Life + Spaces magazine. In over the past 5 years, we have barely touched the surface in the number of high reader interest stories that we know are out there in our region. The interesting people and spaces in which they live, work and play was our mission from the start, and continues to be our focus.
In this issue, the emphasis is on “life” and “work spaces” is predominant, with articles featuring a few of the best local entrepreneurs and creating growth opportunities in recessionary times. Bill Moor writes about a family that has devoted their “life to death” and the Palmer family.
We can’t leave out food! One of my personal favorite cookbooks (although no longer mine – writer Kathe Brunton fell in love with it too!) is Blacktop Chef, a fundraising project of Corvilla, and is highlighted in this issue. Kathe included a sampling of some her favorite recipes from the book.
You can be sure that we have “spaces” covered too! Be sure to read about the beautiful gold certified green “Continuum Home” and tour the inside!
